The Roots of Resentment in Iraq
I read a piece recently submitted to The Washington Post written by an Army Reserve captain who is serving as a civil affairs team leader in Iraq. He tells the story of how the good the US is trying to do for the local Iraqi people is often eclipsed by the actions of our soldiers defending themselves.
I couldn't find the direct link at the Post, so here is the article as posted on another site. It's a random site, I know, but just know that it was printed in the Post about two to three weeks ago.
