Deep Throat Revealed
Hot off the wires...

Vanity Fair is to publish an article revealing the mysterious Deep Throat after more than 30 years of uncertainty. The article reveals Mark Felt, the second in command at the FBI at the time of the Watergate scandal and in charge of the investigation, who now admits that he is the source of the information provided to Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. Historians and pundits have always considered the possibility that Felt was indeed Deep Throat, so the hot rumor is most likely true.

The Washington Post will soon be posting an official comment on their website, and rumors are that Bob Woodward will be writing a long feature article to print in Thursday's edition. However, Woodward and Bernstein have yet to confirm the source, saying "We're not going to say anything because we have an obligation to all our sources, to whom we gave our word that they will remain confidential, including Deep Throat, until their deaths."

Notably, the Ransom Center is now the custodian of the Watergate Papers, and I bet now UT will be at the center of this new revelation.

The Return of Family Guy, Deconstructed
Gotta love Democratic magazines that feature stories like this one in a series on family values
The New Republic Online: Family Value

I bet I'll never see a quote like this on Fox News or in The Weekly Standard: " In 1977, George Lucas showed Hollywood that teenage and twentysomething boys would line up again and again to see cool shit."
